The PhD Programme in Business Economics aims to train competent researchers in the application of the scientific method to solve theoretical and practical problems related to the functioning and organisation of companies.
Our PhD students learn to formulate with precision and rigour relevant research questions related to the world of business, to identify and critically interpret the proposals of previous literature, to logically deduce alternative explanations and to empirically test the proposed implications and hypotheses.
At the end of their PhD, graduates must be able to carry out research work of international quality and impact that will contribute to the creation of knowledge and scientific progress in Business Economics.
